About
The Middle East Center is a unique content hub, speakers agency, and regional knowledge and networking center. We produce high-quality content and groundbreaking events that bring Israelis together with authentic voices from around the world: Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, the Arab world, and more. We operate as an organization that fosters dialogue, builds connections, and provides unique insights to organizations, companies, and decision-makers in Israel and around the world.
Our Approach
At the heart of our work lies an extensive and unprecedented network of more than 100 intellectuals, religious leaders, civil society activists, and businesspeople across the Middle East. We give a platform to voices that are rarely heard in the Western media, presenting a nuanced and hopeful picture of the region, with a focus on cultivating a shared Abrahamic consciousness.
Strategic Communications and Campaigns
In addition to content development, the Center specializes in executing strategic communications initiatives. We produce international panels, conferences, and concept events for senior executives and delegations, featuring our unique network of speakers from the region. We also run public relations and digital campaigns in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Kurdish, and English, ensuring that your message resonates authentically and sparks meaningful dialogue among target audiences in the Middle East and the West.
Strategic Advisory and Business Development
For companies and organizations, the Center serves as a strategic bridge to the Middle East. We provide comprehensive support in charting strategies for entering new markets, writing reports and research studies, identifying key players, and creating business and institutional connections at the highest level. Our team translates geopolitical understanding and cultural nuance into practical business insights, and helps build the relationships essential to success in a complex and dynamic environment.
About the Founder, Tom Wegner
Tom Wegner is the founder and director of the Middle East Center. As a researcher and expert in coordination and liaison with the Muslim world, and as an author (“The Abrahamic Revolution”, “The Union of Believers”) who heads a network of intellectuals across the Middle East, Tom leads the Center’s vision of creating new narratives that connect the peoples of the region.
Over the years, Tom has built and nurtured a deep, personal network of relationships with a wide range of influential figures in the Middle East, and he is responsible for the content development and strategic advisory services the Center provides to its clients. His work focuses on translating geopolitical and cultural opportunities into practical cooperation.
Our Vision
In an era of historic change, the Middle East Center works to create a new reality of dialogue, cooperation, and mutual respect between Israel and the moderate forces in the Middle East. We believe that beyond the political conflicts lies a deep foundation of shared values and mutual interests, and on that foundation we strive to build bridges to a better future.
