Chairman of the Jordanian Opposition Coalition

Chair of the Jordanian “Opposition Coalition,” Modar Adnan Zahran is a Jordanian-Palestinian politician and author who advocates democratization in Jordan and views Jordan as the Palestinian state. He now lives in the United Kingdom as a political refugee after criticizing discrimination against Palestinians in Jordan, which led to legal proceedings against him.

In a lecture on the “New Jordan Plan,” Zahran offers surprising answers to the idea of Jordan as the Palestinian state. He discusses his criticism of the Jordanian monarchy and his efforts to promote dialogue between Jordanians and Israelis.
